Digitalis Camelot Rose seed is the first ever F1 Hybrid Foxglove! Spectacular plants that reliably flower in the first year, with another heavy flush of flowers in the second year. Ideal for shady beds and borders. Prefers any well-drained soil in part shade.

Place seed on the surface of a good free draining sowing mixt and cover with a sprinkling of sowing mix or vermiculite. Seal container inside a plastic bag and place at 15-20C (59-68F) until after germination which usually takes 14 to 30 days. Do not exclude light, as this helps germination.

Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into pots. Gradually acclimatize to outdoor conditions before planting out after all risk of frost, 60cm (24 inches) apart.

Always ensure good drainage, mulch with compost in autumn. Plants will prove hardy if wet winter conditions are avoided.
