A maincrop Nantes variety producing heavy crops of smooth skinned, good flavored, bright orange roots. The roots of this carrot resist cracking, and store well for winter usage. Also suitable for successional sowing if finger roots are required. Quick growing and suitable for all season cropping.
Sowing:
Sow March to June. Sow thinly, 1/2 inch deep in drills 12 inches apart.
Growing:
Thin seedlings when large enough to handle, allowing 1 inch between roots.
Aftercare:
Prefers well drained, moist, rich conditions.
