This is unquestionably one of the most powerfully impulsive flower colors to be found recently in any introduction in the horticultural world. The top petals are a full blooded, strong vibrant red, in clear contrast to the lower petals creamy whiteness. Lots of flowers, even in height (10 inches) and with universal appeal. Use it in beds, borders etc, to brighten up the garden or in tubs, planters, on the patio or even as a windowsill pot plant. Flowers summer. Height 10 inches.

- Sowing:
- Sow late winter to mid spring at 55-60F in a good seed compost, just covering the seed with compost. Keep soil damp but not wet. Germination usually takes 7-21 days. Keep the soil temperature below 65F.
- Growing:
- When seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant into 3 inch pots and grow in cooler conditions. Gradually acclimatize to outdoor conditions for 10-15 days before planting out after all risk of frost, 6 inches apart in a sunny spot.
