Delicious eaten raw in salads, used for juicing or as a cooked vegetable. High in Beta-carotene and Vitamin A and rich in antioxidants.
Sowing:
Sow at 4 week intervals. Sow thinly, 1cm (1/2 in) deep in drills 30cm (12in) apart. Thin seedlings to 5cm (2in) apart when large enough to handle, to reduce risk of carrot root fly attack.
Growing:
Keep well watered for best quality roots.

Later sowings can be lifted and stored.
