- Sowing:
- Sow in late spring/early summer outdoors in a well prepared seed bed. Sow the seeds very thinly in drills ¼ inch deep, 6 inches apart.
- Growing:
- Transplant the seedlings before they become crowded 6 inches apart into a reserve border for the summer. Plant out 15 inches apart where they are to flower.
- Aftercare:
- For a greenhouse display in the summer pot up a few plants into 8 inch pots in the fall and place in a coldframe or slightly heated greenhouse for the winter.
