Sowing:
Sow from February to April indoors at 60-65F in good seed compost, just covering the seed with compost. Germination usually takes 5-21 days.
Growing:
When seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant and grow in cooler conditions. Gradually acclimatize to outdoor conditions for 10-15 days before planting out after all risk of frost 8-10 inches apart in a sunny spot.
