- Bellflower Pyramidalis Mixed
- Called Steeple Bells and one of the most striking herbaceous plants with a profusion of blue sometimes white, starry bell shaped 1½ inch flowers in broad spires. Border or can be grown as greenhouse pot plant when it flowers in May and looks gorgeous standing in the patio or indoors. Flowers summer. Height: 3-4 feet.

- Sowing:
- Best sown outdoors in summer in a shady seed bed. Sow very thinly 1/16 inch deep in rows 12 inches apart in well cultivated soil which has been raked to a fine tilth.
- Growing:
- Transplant to flowering site in the fall 9 inches apart. They will grow in sun or part shade and in ordinary well drained soil. To flower under glass lift the young plants in September, pot up into 8-10 inch pots of potting compost.
- Aftercare:
- Overwinter in a coldframe and move to a greenhouse in February. Grow on at 45-50F.
