- Chamomile
- The tea is recommended to help flatulence and dyspepsia. Also for relief of pain, painful periods and as a general health-giving all round tonic. Dried flower heads are used in teas, lotions and potpourri.

- Sowing:
- Start seed indoors from late winter through early summer. Sow seed on the surface of a pre-moistened potting soil and mist to ensure good seed/soil contact. Loosely cover container with a sheet of plastic wrap to retain moisture. Germination takes 14-28 days at 60-70F.
Seeds can also be direct sown outdoors in early spring, after all danger of frost.
- Growing:
- Transplant on to individual 3 inch pots when large enough to handle. Gradually acclimatize to outdoor conditions and set out after all danger of frost at a spacing of 12 inches.
