Carrot : Purple Dragon

Absolutely unique, purple-skinned carrots with deep orange flesh. They look amazing in salads or as a steamed vegetable. Roots have a high antioxidant and vitamin content, so are best eaten raw and are perfect for making carrot juice. High antioxidant and vitamin content. Easy to grow.

Sowing:

Sow April to June. Sow seed thinly, 1/2 inch deep in drills 12 inches apart. Thin seedlings to 2 inches when large enough to handle, to reduce risk of carrot root fly attack.

Growing:

Prefers well-drained, moist, rich, cool conditions.

Aftercare:

Keep well watered for best quality roots.
