Black-Eyed Susan Prairie Sun
An impressive debut for beds and borders, this unique new plant was awarded a Fleuroselect Gold Medal. The unusual blooms with central green cones and bright orange petals radiating back to lemon yellow, make dazzling cut flowers.

Height: 36 inches; Type/hardiness: Half-hardy Annual; Prefers sun or part shade; Flowers: Summer to Fall.

Sowing:
Sow February to March at 68-77F on the surface of a good free draining, damp seed compost. Apply a very fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Place in a propagator or seal container inside a polythene bag until after germination which usually takes 10-21 days. Do not exclude light at any stage, as this helps germination.
Growing:
Transplant, when large enough to handle into 3 inch pots. Grow on in cooler conditons for 10-15 days before planting out after all risk of frost, 12 inches apart.
Aftercare:
Prefers a well drained soil in full sun. Flowers late summer to fall.
