Aster chinensis Spider Chrysanthemum Mixed
A selection of striking, spider-like blooms. A superb Aster which makes a fine display in bedding and the border and also makes a wonderful cut flower. Spectacular!
Sowing:
Sow February to April. Germinate at 68-86F on the surface of a good free draining, damp seed compost. Apply a fine sprinkling of vermiculite. Place in a propagator or seal container inside a polythene bag until after germination which usually takes 7-21 days. Do not exclude light at any stage, as this helps germination.
Growing:
Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into trays or 3 inch pots. Grow on in cooler, well lit conditions for 10-15 days before planting out after all risk of frost, 9-12 inches apart.
Aftercare:
Prefers a well drained soil in full sun.
