Butterfly Mixture

An exciting blend, specially selected to attract butterflies and other beneficial insects to your garden. Excellent for making attractive drifts of color, and your garden a haven for wildlife. Easy to grow.

Sowing:

Sow March to May. Sow outdoors where they are to flower once the soil has warmed. Prepare the ground well and rake to a fine tilth before sowing. Sprinkle the seed thinly over the surface, then rake lightly to ensure seed is just covered. Alternatively, sow 1/16 inch deep in drills, 12 inches apart. Germination usually takes 14-21 days.

Growing:

As seedlings germinate, thin out any that are too close together so that remaining plants are about 4 inches apart. Regular removal of spent flowers will encourage further blooming.

Aftercare:

Prefers a well drained soil in full sun.
