Lettuce Triumph Iceburg

A vastly improved Iceberg type Lettuce, with added tolerance to the common complaint of root aphid. Triumph has a compact growing habit and produces dense, crunchy heads of good flavor. Heads keep well in storage. Particularly suited to spring and summer sowings.

Type/hardiness: Vegetable; Cropping in 80 Days

Sowing:

Sow April to August at regular intervals thinly, 1½ inch deep in drills 15 inches apart.

Growing:

Thin seedlings to 12 inches apart when large enough to handle. Water well during dry periods.

Aftercare:

Prefers a moist, well drained soil in full sun. Harvest June to October.
