- Agastache aurantiaca Apricot Sprite
- Never before has flower power been experienced from a border plant of this kind. A staggering display of apricot spikes of tasselled florets, erupting like flames from the laced, richly fragrant foliage. Very quick growing, excellent in bedding, borders and containers.
Bred and selected by T&M for its dwarf, compact habit, and was awarded a Fleuroselect Quality Mark. All this and it also flowers in its first year from seed.
- Sowing:
- Sow February to April on the surface of lightly firmed, moist seed compost in pots or trays. Keep at a temperature of between 59-68F. After sowing, do not exclude light as this helps germination. Keep the surface of the compost moist but not waterlogged; germination will usually take 14-30 days.
- Growing:
- When large enough to handle, transplant seedlings into 3in pots or trays. Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions tor 10-15 days betore planting out after all risk of frost, 12in apart.
