Baby Blue Eyes
Low spreading habit. Glorious sky-blue 1in blooms. Excellent for rockeries, edging in most soils. Showy plants for the garden or rock garden. Splendid pot plants for the cold greenhouse. Flowers summer. Trailing.

Type/hardiness: Hardy Annual; Prefers sun or part shade

Sowing:
Sow early spring outdoors where they are to flower. Prepare the ground well and rake to a fine tilth before sowing. Sow 1/16 inch deep in rows 6 inches apart. Germination usually takes approximately 21 days.

A fall sowing outdoors will provide earlier flowers and in a coldframe will produce spring flowering pot plants in the cold greenhouse.

Growing:
When large enough to handle thin out to 6 inches apart.
Aftercare:
They prefer a light sandy loam rich in humus and a sheltered shady spot.
