Zucchini Long Green Stripe
Highly commended by the Royal Horticultural Society. This is a very prolific, vigorous and easily grown marrow. It is excellent eaten lightly cooked, freshly picked or is suitable for winter storage.

Type/hardiness: Vegetable

Sowing:
Sow singly in mid spring ½ inch deep in 3 inch pots of moist compost. Germination usually takes 7-10 days at 70-75F.
Growing:
Gradually acclimatize the plants to outdoor conditions before planting outdoors after all risk of frost has passed.
Aftercare:
Keep the soil moist, water regularly especially in dry weather and give liquid feed every 14 days when the fruits start to swell. It helps to pinch out the growing points of this variety when the shoots are 2-3feet long.
