- Sowing:
- Sow late winter to early spring at 60-70F on the surface of a good seed compost and gently firm down. Germination usually takes 20-25 days.
- Growing:
- When seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant and grow on in cooler conditions. Gradually acclimatize to outdoor conditions for 10-15 days before planting out, after all risk of frost, 15 inches apart in a sunny spot on light well drained soil.
