- California Poppy Apricot Flambe
- An exquisite variety with rich, creamy yellow fluted petals tipped with the most intense coral orange edging. From the tightly scrolled buds to the fully open flower this variety is irresistible. A brilliant bicolor at home in any border. Very hardy, easy to grow and free flowering, they make excellent, if short lived, cut flowers. Flowers summer.

- Sowing:
- Best sown where they are to flower in spring or late summer/early fall for overwintering. Sow 1/8 inch deep in rows 12 inches apart in well cultivated soil which has been raked to a fine tilth.
- Growing:
- Thin out the seedlings to 6 inches apart. They are very hardy and will grow in the poorest soils preferring full sun.
- Aftercare:
- For spring/summer flowering pot plants in a cool greenhouse or conservatory sow in late summer/early fall. Grow cool in full light and water sparingly. For cutting, pick when the blooms are still tightly curled.
