Pansy Romeo & Juliet
This blend of delicate pastel colors is just right for toning down the harsher tones of other bedding plants as well as harmonising well with most plants in beds or border. A very 'modern' color range ideal for containers, hanging baskets, bedding etc. and making the prettiest cut flowers for posies, small vases etc. Flowers spring/summer. Height 6 inches.

Height: 6 inches; Type/hardiness: Half-hardy Annual/Hardy Perennial; Prefers sun or part shade; Flowers: Dependent on sowing time

Sowing:
Sow in a peat based seed compost in late winter and early spring, early summer or fall in trays or boxes indoors, or in a coldframe, at about 60-65F. Too high a temperature or the compost drying out can prevent germination. Sow thinly into moist compost and just cover the seed, prick out into pots or boxes.
Growing:
Gradually acclimatize to outdoor conditions for 10-15 days before planting out after all risk of frost, 9-12 inches apart in most soils, sun or part shade.
Aftercare:
Summer sowings should be moved to a coldframe and planted out in early spring.
