African Daisy Jaffa Ice

A dazzling blend of orange and white, 4 inch blooms, like miniature sunflowers, all with a purple to black center. An excellent border filler and container plant, easy to grow, with deeply lobed silver-green foliage. Flowers summer. Height: 24 inches.

Sowing:

Sow from late winter to early summer 1/8 inch deep in a good seed compost, making sure it is moist but not wet. Seal in a polythene bag until after germination which usually takes 14-21 days at 60-65F.

Growing:

Transplant when large enough to handle into3 inch pots and grow on in cooler conditions. Gradually acclimatize to outdoor conditions for 10-15 days before planting out after all risk of frost, 12 inches apart.

Aftercare:

Prefer a sunny spot on light well drained soil but any fertile garden soil will suffice.
