- Armeria Bees Mixed
- Easily grown long flowering plants with unusual ball shaped flower heads on thin wiry stems which make a pleasant addition to the flower border. Thriving in ordinary garden soil and particularly useful in full sun and poor soil. They flower and flower the whole summer long, starting in June and often not stopping till early November, and the color range is glorious, from shocking pink through cerise, red, lilac to palest pink. Attractive in and out of flower they make pleasing rounded dense cushions of growth which are evergreen through the winter. Flowers all summer. Height: 2½ feet.

- Sowing:
- Sow early to late spring after first soaking the seeds in warm water for 6-8 hours. Use any good seed compost and cover the seeds very lightly so that they are only just covered with compost. Germination usually takes 14-21 days at 60-70F.
- Growing:
- Transplant when large enough to handle into 3 inch pots. Place in a cold frame or plunge the pots up to their rims in a sheltered site outdoors and plant out in the fall 9-12 inches apart.
- Aftercare:
- Prefers well drained soil and full sun.
