Black-Eyed Susan Becky
For the first time you can grow this cheerful, free flowering annual in containers and hanging baskets! Becky produces extra dwarf plants, neat and compact in a well balanced mixture of lemon to bright orange flowers, each with a slightly darker contrasting center disc. They now make ideal basket and container plants flowering right up to first frost, producing large flowers measuring up to 6 inches across!

Height: 8-10 inches; Type/hardiness: Half-hardy Annual; Prefers sun or part shade; Flowers mid summer to frost.

Sowing:
Sow from late winter to early summer 1/16 inch deep in a good seed compost. Make sure it is moist but not wet and seal in a polythene bag, exclude light until after germination which usually takes 10-21 days at 55-60F.

They can also be sown outdoors in mid spring where they are to flower.

Growing:
Transplant when large enough to handle into 3 inch pots and grow cool. Pinch out the growing points when 3 inches high to ensure a bushy habit. Later, plant out9 inches apart in a rich, well drained soil and full sun.
