Packet should contain: Agrostis nebulosa, Agrostis pulchella, Briza maxima, Briza gracillis, Brome macrostachys, Brome uniloides, Festuca glauca, Panicum violaceum, Sorghum nigrum.

Type/hardiness: Hardy Annual

Sowing:

Best sown where they are to flower in spring. Sow very thinly ¼ inch deep in rows 12 inches apart in well cultivated soil which has been raked to a fine tilth.

Growing:

Thin out the seedlings to 9 inches apart and transplant the thinnings. They prefer a sunny site and well drained soil. Gather when the heads have changed color but before they start to break up, and hang them in bunches, heads down in a cool, dry, airy place.
