- Alyssum Golden Queen
- An attractive ground-hugger with gray foliage and masses of light yellow clusters of flowers in the spring. Vigorous and showy; prune it hard back after flowering.

- Sowing:
- Sow from late January to July on the surface of a good seed compost. After sowing seal the seed container in a polythene bag and don't exclude light. Make sure that the compost is always moist but not over-wet. Germination takes 10-30 days at 60-65F.
- Growing:
- Once most of the seeds have come up, lower the temperature slightly. When large enough to handle, transplant the seedlings into 3 inch pots, and grow on cool and well lit. In the fall or early spring plant out where they are to flower18 inches apart in full sun and a rather poor, well drained soil.
